Mac Outlook 2011 Sync Pending For This Folder
With the introduction of Outlook 2011 for Mac, many Mac users are asking the burning question around how to sync Outlook 2011 for Mac with the native Mac Address Book. This is especially relevant as many users now sync their mobile phone contacts (Blackberry, Android, iPhone) with the native Address Book contacts manager.
Hi Folks, yes i found a solution to this problem. In the settings for the configuration of Server-Sidy Sync in CRM Online there is a little Checkbox where you can say that all Mail CRM or the Server-Side sync could not treat should be moved to the folder Undeliverable. Uncheck this and no more mails are moved into this folder and you can delete it safely from your inbox after moving or deleting the mails in there. You'll find it in: (ist my own Translation because I only got a german UI) Settings -> E-Mail Settings -> E-Mail Serverprofile -> Advanced and then uncheck Move failed E-Mails to folder Undeliverable. This is true for all of my clients who faced this issue.
Regards and let me know if it helped. I got a call with a MS engineer yesterday and he suggested to move all the content of the undeliverable folder to the inbox. How do show reader on chrome for mac.
I also re-approved my email and retested my email in the email configuration in CRM 2013. It didn't solve the problem 100% and I don't know if it is a coincidence but it seems to be better. CRM email are now making their way through and it now seems to be random/junk email so far.
It was explained to me that this folder is created automatically by CRM to store the emails that are not making it through CRM. So the emails you see there are in Outlook but not in CRM. I am still waiting for a full resolution and I will post back if I learn more.
Hello Eric, Initially the issue is happening with the ‘Email router’. Also in email router scenario an Undeliverable folder get appears in Outlook after setting Email router. For the server side sync the setting is totally different and the cause behind this issue is also different than Email Router. The workaround for this issue is to move all emails from Undeliverable folder to the Inbox but is didn't solve the issue entirly. As pr Eric's suggestion he found the resolution for this issue. For this we have change the following settings in our CRM organization in order to narrow down this issue. Go to Settings -> Email Configuration.
Open the Email Server Profile. Set the settings either to Yes No for ‘Move Failed email to undeliverable Folder’. Thank you Eric. Hi guys, I've got the same issue and I'm not confident that there is a complete resolution.
The reason being is that moving the emails to the inbox only temporarily fixes the issue, it doesn't prevent it from happening in the future. Also, if turning off the settings for the Undeliverable folder and it happens again, how do we identify emails that constantly fail to go into CRM? There isn't a quick and easy way to identify these emails as they sit in the same pit as the successfully processed emails. Regards, Aaron. Hi Folks, yes i found a solution to this problem.
