2017 Windows 7 Mac Os X Dual Boot
I have a compatible laptop for installing mac os x sierra, i have on it windows 10, i want to dual boot it with sierra but i dont want to lose my windows 10 (i dont want to do a clean install) i want to install ot on the same drive on another partition Is there a way to dual boot it without losing the windows 20 and its data? Is there a way to install sierra on external hard drive and boot it when needed?
To dual boot Windows 7 and Windows 8 on a host or a guest is quite difficult without a 3fr party boot manager. Windows 8 will want to upgrade Windows 7 rather than and dual boot it. But legally you cannot install something like Mac Bootcamp in a VM as the earlier reply indicates. In this article, I am going to show you how to dual boot Windows 10 and Mac OS X El Capitan on PC. You may be used an Operating system like Windows by Microsoft, Mac OS X.
If yes for any of the questions, please post a link to a step by step installation guide. This is my first guide. I hope that someone can find it helpful. It is written with lots of explanation in hopes that it will be easy to follow for anyone. I have attached a PDF that has this same guide with tons of pictures to illustrate it. This guide will show you how to install Windows and Mountain Lion to dual boot on a single hard drive and get them running perfectly.
The Gigabyte Motherboard H61M-DS2 is probably the cheapest motherboard that can run OS X mountain lion perfectly (After Multibeast). I'm having the same problem. I Installed Window8 and have it running (on NFTS partition). Then on the other partition (Journaled) I installed OS ML using the USB. The system restarted and when I choose to boot the Mountain Lion (rather than the USB or Windows8), I am stuck on a white screen with the apple logo in grey and a grey pinwheel that just keeps going. I'd appreciate any help!
Should I try redoing this all but installing OSX first and then installing the windows partition? I appreciate the help, Ben. Zte drivers windows 7.
