Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium Mac Osx Rome
Hi all, Hope you are having a good weekend. I just bought a new Mac Book Pro and running Mac OS X 10.6.6 🙂 My old crappy computer that was running on windows died. I have Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium for Windows.
Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium is a great value and is designed to help you work more effectively than ever before, whether you’re getting your ideas down, keeping your ideas moving, or sharing your ideas with others.
I want to use it on my Mac. (Don't really have the money or need right now to buy the latest version.) Can someone please tell me how to run this software on my new Mac? I'm a little confused as to whether I use Snow Leopard or Parrallels Desktop for Mac. I'm happy to pay $100 for some software, just not like $1000/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png Crazy Adobe/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png Appreciate your help. Been 10 years since I've used Mac (though my first computer ever was the black and green Mac in the 80s/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png).
Boot Camp enables you to install Windows on your Intel-based Mac computer, using a Microsoft Windows install disc that you provide. Windows is installed on its own partition. After installation, you can use either Windows or Mac OS X on your Mac computer. The Boot Camp Assistant application helps you create the Windows partition and restart your Mac using your Windows installation disc. Then you can follow these instructions to install Windows and install software drivers that enable Windows to work with your Mac hardware.
Boot Camp Assistant is in your Applications>Utilities folder. You must use a single full-install Windows installation disc (Service Pack 2 is required for Windows XP installations). Do not use an upgrade version of Windows and do not install an earlier version of Windows XP and attempt to update it later to SP2. Use only 32-bit versions of Windows. It is not free. Fusion or Parallels are quite similar.
Either will allow you to run Mac OS with Windows running in it's own window on your Mac. Boot Camp allows you to have either on your hard disk but you must choose which one you boot into. Somewhere in your Documents folder is a Boot Camp.pdf document to read, first.
Use Spotlight to locate it and Preview to read the 26 page document. You must be running Leopard or later on an Intel-based Mac. I hope this helps. Apple Footer • This site contains user submitted content, comments and opinions and is for informational purposes only.

CORRECTION, 2:40 p.m. PT: There has been clarification since this story broke. Adobe has not officially released the CS2 software for free. Instead, it has canceled its CS2 license management servers, so for those with existing licenses it is now offering downloads that do not require contact with the licensing servers. While Adobe admits this may be seen as it giving its software away for free, this service is intended for those with existing Adobe CS2 licenses. Adobe's popular Creative Suite has been developed way beyond the capabilities of the initial versions of the software; however, older versions such as CS2 are still very powerful image-manipulation and content-creation tools. Still, they are no longer supported by the company and could cause problems or fail to run when installed on computers running the latest versions of OS X or Windows.
